GB Studio Jump Off Ledge System Template

This template and tutorial allows you to be able to make your Player jump off ledges in GB Studio. 

Below are downloadable files that contain the Jump Off Ledge System Template.

Try the DEMO to have a feel of the system.

Press Start, try going to any direction of the ledges around you. Your Player will automatically jump off may it be up, down, left or right. Interact with the sign to go back to Title screen to repeat.

Features (and reminders):

1. This template provides a basic system using triggers to make your Player jump off "ledges" in game.
2. All scripts are within the triggers.
3. I tweaked the actor sprite to have a basic jumping animation.
4. You may recreate your own spritesheet to make a better jump animation.

Limitations:

1. This Jump Off Ledge System is limited to jumping 1 tile away from the ledges.
2. Jumping animation sprites are all one frame each (just created a simple jump animation for this template) thus, making the jump not as good as most legit games.

Do as you wish with how this template works, you may tweak it, copy and apply it to different kinds of projects, I suggest creating a better jumping off animation spritesheet to get the full effect of making your character jump off a ledge.

If you're having a hard time to make it work. Just copy everything to the dot then work from there :)
