GB Studio HP Bar System Template

This template and tutorial allows you to be able to have an HP Bar Indicator in GB Studio. 

Below are downloadable files that contain the HP Bar System Template.

Try the DEMO to have a feel of the system.

Press Start, interact with the snake to get damaged and see the HP Bar deplete. Go around the area and get damaged by environmental hazards. Interact with the sparkle sprite to heal.

Features (and reminders):

1. This template provides a basic HP Bar Indicator on the upper left corner of your screen.
2. Your HP in this Template is a maximum of 10. You may change that (on the script section) depending on how much HP you want your character to have.
3. You may recreate your own HP Bar and just apply the sprite settings I have so you'll have your very own customized HP Bar.
4. I have placed a limit on your HP on this template. It cannot go over 10 and less than 0. (You may adjust it to your liking, again depending on how much HP you want for your character)
5. The scripts and formulas are readily made so you don't have to worry about that anymore. If you're a beginner and still learning. I suggest for you to tinker with the project and understand how everything works.

Limitations:

1. The HP Bar are in increments of 10. So if you were to have for example, 437 HP, you'll need to make your own HP Bar that can work with a formula that if you deal like 58 damage it will correspond to how much the bar will look after getting damaged.
2. I tried making the HP Bar longer, unfortunately GB Studio 3.1 cuts it off on the left side after x64 in length.

Do as you wish with how this template works, you may tweak it, copy and apply it to different kinds of HP Bars or even place it in a different position, it may work on the lower right just like in Stardew Valley, you'll just need to tweak the art and make it vertical.

If you're having a hard time to make it work. Just copy everything to the dot then work from there :)
