GB Studio Enemy Follows Player Template

This template and tutorial allows you to make an Enemy or anything else follow your Main Character  in GB Studio. 

Below are downloadable files that contain the Enemy Follows Player template.

(Made in GB Studio 3.1)

Features:

1. Enemy sprite follows player
2. Adjustable range as to how far the enemy would be from the player to trigger it into following the main character:
   

3. On hit range of 2 tiles away triggers whatever you want on main character:

Limitations:

1 Visible Enemy sprite following main character would have ZERO lag. I tried having 2 and more "Zombies" following the main character and it lagged so bad due to all the scripts.

However in my other game I was able to have up to 7 Enemy sprites spread out in the map with no issues as long as they aren't all visible within the screen moving together all at once.

Do as you wish with how this template works, you may tweak it, apply it to different characters.

If you're having a hard time to make it work. Just copy everything to the dot then work from there :)

You can bike around, fight mosquitoes in a turn based battle system,  and level up.  It's based on real life people and places here in (El Nido, Palawan).
